Angela Tong
Angela Tong was born and raised in the historic city of Boston where her passion for art first began. At a young age, she loved to draw and was encouraged by her parents to pursue private lessons.
Under the tutelage of goldsmith, Angela's experience with art was broadened in high school where she painted, made pottery, and jewelry. upon graduation, Angela was awarded the Presidential Scholarship at massachusetts College of Art, where she dual majored in metal-smith and industrial design.
In pursuit of a more technical training in jewelry design, she relocated to New York City and enrolled in the The Fashion Institute of Technology, where she graduated Suma Cum laude in Jewelry Design. Afterwards, she refined her skills by making fine platinum and gold jewelry that can be seen at Tiffany & Co., Mikimota and Barney's New York. Furthermore, she worked with other renowned jewelry designers, such as CFDA award winner Dean Harris.
In 2004, Angela quit her job to pursue her dream of designing her own collection. Culled from a breadth of artistic influence and a depth of jewelry experience, Angela designs each piece using precious metals and gems; creating a perfect fusion of form and function where each piece exhibits timeless charm and modern beauty.
Based in New York City, her jewelry can be seen in boutiques across the country from California to Florida.
