- How do I become a BIM vendor?
- You can pre-register here or from the vendor page. As a first time vendor, we ask to see your product via your website or you can send images to kathymalone@gmail.com. If sharing a table we need to see images from both applicants.
- Do you have to commit to every weekend?
- No. You can participate as often as you like.
- How do I pay if I am accepted?
- If paying by Paypal, payment must be received 24 hours in advance. If paying by check, payment must be received five business days in advance.
- How do I know I have a confirmed date at the market?
- After your payment has been received and cleared, you will get a reservation confirmation via email. Until then, your reservation is not confirmed. If you have a special concern, feel free to email me at kathymalone@gmail.com
- What is the address?
- The big red and white tent on Smith street between President and Union street, Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn.
- How do I get there via car/train?
- Via subway: take the F or G train to Carroll street. Exit at the President Street exit of the station. You will see the the tent! Via car from NYC: you can take the Brooklyn Bridge. Turn RIGHT onto Atlantic ave. Turn LEFT onto Court street. Turn LEFT onto Carroll street. Turn LEFT onto Smith street.
- Is sharing a table allowed?
- Yes. Limited to a total of 2 per vendor space
- Do you provide tables and chairs?
- No.Currently, you need to bring your own table and chair. We will be able to rent a table and chair to you in the near future.
- What are the rates?
- A space inside the tent is $60. When you book two or more dates at a time , the rate is $50 per day. A kiosk is $80 a day. When you book two or more dates at a time, the rate is $70 per day. The dates do not need to be consequetive.
- Can I pay the day of?
- No - all payments *other than checks* must be received 24 hours before the date you wish to sell at BIM. Checks must be received 5 business days prior to participation.
- What is the cancellation and refund policy?
- Only cancellations due to severe weather resulting in Brooklyn Indie Market being closed will entitle you to a credit that you can apply toward a future selling date.In the event of severe weather conditions such as a big storm, opening will be determined by 8 am the morning of your reservation. Please include your phone number with your reservation You will receive a phone call by 8 am on the morning of your reservation.

- Are there restrooms?
- Fall Cafe across the street has been very generous with allowing vendors to use theirs, we ask that you purchase something/tip.
- Is there a place for people to try on clothes?
- Yes.A changing booth and full length mirror are available
- Is there electricity available?
- Yes.
- Is there wireless?
- Yes. Can be slow at times.
- What is the parking situation?
- Parking is relatively easy with metered and non-metered parking either directly in front of the market or a nearby side street.
- Who do I check in with when I arrive at the market?
- When you arrive you will be greeted by one of our cheerful market managers.
- What time should I arrive?
- Setup is one hour before opening.
- What are the hours of operation?
- May-August, Saturdays 11:00-7:00 September-December: Saturdays and Sundays, times tba
- How much vendor space do I get in the tent?
- Enough space to accommodate an up to 6ft long table
- Am I eligible to sell at the Brooklyn Indie Market?
- Probably. You are eligible if you design and make your own products. Please continue with the pre-registration here.
