I am an Iowa farm girl. Well, I was. I am now a New Yorker. My designs come from my genes - from the quilters, sew'ers, fur tailors and gypsies in my blood-line. But, with my acquired urban slant. What purple & gold tapestry pillow doesn't need a hand stitched brassiere applique on it? Or, how about a forest of Twin Birches for your chair, couch or bed? When I am not tracking down fabric or sewing, I am usually on the phone with my college aged daughter, Mykel, reading or writing a short story, knitting baby legwarmers or relaxing on the couch with my boyfriend, Tim.
